A relic found on 7/11/15 in the sand approximately 50 metres South-West of St Piran's
Oratory in mid-Cornwall.
The oratory is a 5th
century church, thought to be the oldest in England, but the same site is also
associated with the even older lost city of Langarroc.
Over the years a number of
other artefacts including human remains have been exposed on site due the
shifting sands in the area.
The relic may therefore date
back to the early Celtic church, or to a mythical period that precedes this.
